Good analysis.

Please resolve my problem.

Using ProcessXP I found one of the file used for backup is having more reads and using Filemon I found that the process is using 32KB for each read. I suspect due to this small chunk of 32KB which is causing millions of reads. Is there any possibility to increase the chunk size from 32KB to 128KB, so that we can reduce the reads.
